IMCD to Acquire E.T. Horn Company

IMCD N.V. has announced its agreement to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of E.T. Horn Company (Horn).

Founded in 1961, Horn is a US-based specialty chemical distributor focusing on coatings, construction, plastics, personal care, human food and nutrition, animal nutrition, nutraceu­ticals and more. In 2017, it reported revenues of $276 million and around 200 employees.

The acquisition, paid with available cash and existing facilities, is subject to regulatory review and fulfillment of transaction-related conditions.
