Sun Chemical Provides Alternative to the Glitter Trend

Sun Chemical has announced the launch of its new Intenza Glitter Effects.

According to Sun Chemical, the new glitter effects were developed with synthetic mica substrate which is reportedly akin to the composition of natural mica but with higher clarity, brilliance and sparkle. Due to natural mica being restricted to a particle size of 150 µm, synthetic mica—which has no size restriction—is meant to be an alternative to plastic glitters.

Intenza Glitter Effects include

  1. C91-4812 Intenza Optimism (INCI: Synthetic Fluorphlogopite (and) Titanium Dioxide (and) FD&C Yellow 5 Aluminum Lake): Bright yellow pearl with gold interference.
  2. C91-4832 Intenza Passion (INCI: Synthetic Fluorphlogopite (and) Titanium Dioxide (and) D&C Red 7 Calcium Lake): Bright red pearl with red interference color.
  3. C91-4838 Intenza Creativity (INCI: Synthetic Fluorphlogopite (and) Titanium Dioxide (and) D&C Red 7 Calcium Lake): Bright red pearl with multiple interference colors.
